Reconditioned + 30 day warranty = always a risk. If you still have the drill/battery/charger you should test the battery to see if it has any juice. I've read that a LOT of people had issues with...

How is this drill as far as brand goes? What do these cost normal?

Honestly, don't buy this reconditioned crap. I suckered for this deal last time, and bought one of these crappy Hitachi cordless drills. It worked for a couple months of very light use (just...

In for the 3 piece lithium ion combo. Thanks OP.

I bought this combo sans the "bonus" item a while ago and it was crap. It looked like it was used 24/7 in a war zone. Plus BOTH batteries it came with were defective (worn out). Reconditioned to them...

So in the esteemed opinions of slickdealers the world over, which of these deals would you take advantage of? Although I guess one could buy all four deals and still not be spending that much ;)! ...

Well damned if you aren't correct. I was certain the warranty was 30 or 90 days, but it looks like 1 year. I will give it a shot (returning) and see what they do. For the record, the drill I...

I've since given away everything I owned that wasn't Big Sky Tool Hitachi or RyobiOne. RyobiOne's are often really crappy, BUT they have a bunch of cordless tools that no one else makes. The tools...

Short answer, no. I have the WH18DSAL and it isn't intended for that sort of application. If you have an air compressor, you should really using an impact wrench instead. You simply won't be...

How are these compared to the blackfriday 30 dollar craftman or ryobi's deals? Don't need it for anything serious, some cabinet vent holes for example.

whatcha like better about the Ni-Cad lock batteries vs the li-ion sliders? Torque of the drill is less, batteries are lower amp hour, etc.

I don't say there aren't differences pro and con. But for the money, I think the dvf3s are the better deal. Neither of us are wrong, and glad this deal gives us the choice :D.

Shipping is quite a few bucks higher than OP listed when shipping to CA, depending on which combo you order.

The ds12dvf3 and ds18dvf3 are nicad, while the ds18dsal and kc18dhl are lithium ion. Lithium ion is newer, but some people swear by nicad. This deal gives you a choice. The ds18dvf3, with the...

I own this drill, and it's not worth any money. Really not a good deal at any price. Buy a real brand, like a Milwaukee, Bosch, Makita, Dewalt.
