What kind of power supply would I need for this?

Of the two, I would choose the 6450, but really I'd be guessing if I tried to give you an answer on this. Sorry

I current have an ATI HD38xx (I dont recall the exact model). Looking for a potential upgrade if cheap. How do these cards discussed compare?

I have a 4250 integrated into my HTPC motherboard. It was mostly fine except that it can't play blu ray 3d content. For that, the graphics card needs to be able to decode frame-packed streams. The...

I am gettting the same. Just as I was about to pull the trigger too. Would make a nice little upgrade over the HD5450 I'm using to run my second monitor and a TV...

My older HTPC chugs a bit on some 1080p content; would this card be better at that thanks to the improved decoding in the newer model cards? I think I have a 4xxx series in there right now.

I cancelled my order on the 210 to get this......I did that while it was still $5, probably woulda kept it @ far but whatever. I doubt the fan in this card will cause any noise that you'd notice.

is it to be expected for the monitor to flicker with this card if using a 250W PSU and seeing flicker just by opening something like notepad?

This card does audio bitstreaming through HDMI and outputs at 1080p, so it would work fine in an HTPC. Keep in mind that it does have a fan, so if you are looking for a silent build this is probably...

They have the 5450 for $5 cheaper. Less powerful but uses less power too. Since it's OOS still a decent deal. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125432

I am using the integrated intel 4000 graphics on my ivy cpu for my HTPC. Is this better or I should just stay with what I have?

I guess it depends on how low voltage you're trying to make your HTPC, and how many hard drives you're running. This card has such low demands and abilities that lead me to believe that any power...

I'm jumping on this grenade. I've never had a Zotac, but I do prefer Nvidia cards over AMD ones for HTPC (driver issues have annoyed me in the past). If it's junk it can always go right back. ...

Good for you. I did that last year right after BF sale. It took 4 months to get it back. I guess they got backlogged by the holiday sales.
