I felt same way about that. I really liked the look of the 650D and would prefer it to have a solid panel. Corsair sells a solid panel for 20 dollars... I'me buy one

The case is nice, no side panel fan kind of sucks. Also worth noting the fan controller fries easily on these, common problem on this case and happened to me twice now. Thank goodness Corsair...
