Totally a personal call. I personally would take the $50 and look for a solid state drive :woot:. If you aren't gaming, any i3 should do you. But on a use level, the SSD makes the world of difference...

Personally, I think it's matter of question of better graphics for the $50. Maybe you try to find an i5 for the extra bucks...just my 2cents.

this is the same laptop from sam club I am considering with different specs. For $50 more you get an i5 instead of i3, 6GB RAM instead of 4GB, 750GB HDD instead of 500GB.
