Bear in mind the D5200 has already been announced with the newer 24MP sensor, so unless there is really good deal available you can only expect the D5100 prices to go down once the D5200 starts...

I have a D5100 and it has exactly the same sensor as the D7000 so it is a good deal. It does lack a ton of features, but you can call them "pro" features if you like; stuff like dedicated buttons...

If you are most interested in Video, then you should go with a Canon a 60D or the T4i. The damn D7000 it can't change the aperture when it's in live view mode, (needed for video) so you must go out...
