Nope, my month ended on 12/21 and the $25 plan stayed in effect. I then paid $25 for an additional month so my new plan end date is 1/21/13 and I still show on the $25 plan.

I think Elite cannot be used as hot spot. Check on Howard forums tor the Elite thread. People are asking the same question. I have the VM Optimus V and I can use it as use as a hot spot.

They killed the 'start on the $35 plan and drop down to the old $25 plan' thing. The Elite was never supposed to be able to be used on the $25 plan, but it does, so far.
