I am pretty sure it does not have a qam tuner. It does have a slot for a cablecard which would deal with QAM.

It was $99 refurb from Woot. 1 yr warranty. This is still a good deal though. Takes 1 M-card for 3 channels. I have this and a Ceton. Media Center isn't problem free but make for a kick ass...

Depends. The Cisco Tuning Adapter that TWC gives has some issues sometimes. Occasionally, it will lose signal when TWC issues its monthly updates. You have to call them to have them reprovision it...

Too bad this tuner works only with WMC.... Should be in open media formats e.g. MPEG and compatible with DLNA so that most TV sets can get the access directly
