From a quick look, the amount of discount seems like related to the reviews of the item. I guess if the reviews are bad, less people buy it so they probably give more discount. Seems like it make...

the Toys R Us 40% off is a good deal. I don't think it covers everything but it's a decent selection. Lego seems to have a lock on the pricing so they are relatively the same at every merchant....

No, it's a terrible deal! There here is no lock on pricing and TRU inflates LEGO prices grossly, by as much as - wait for it - 90%. One example of this "sale" was the LEGO Hogwarts expansion set....
