Is the USB 3.0 worth an extra $11 on the similar WD deal that Frys had on Friday ($58)? Same WD, but the one on sale was USB 2.0 WD Element. I bought one $58 but still in box sealed never open.

A lot of the reviews on Amazon are for other capacities besides the 2TB version. A lot of the one-star reviews at newegg are for people who have minor nitpicks like not having an on-off switch like...

I wonder why the price dropped so fast....may be the recall - "rubber grips can lead to skin rash"

IMHO stick with T3i bundle - that completes your whole kit for $649. You can sell one of the lens and can buy a Prime lens as per your need without investing too much money.

just PM one. How do I check for bad sectors before any other use?

Where did you PM?
Post #55253160 added 11-24-2012 4:28 PM by Anime in Archived Deals
In windows, just format and check for errors with disk management when you first get it. It'll take a good long while to check each sector on a 2TB drive though.
