I mean they manufactured a physically brand-new laptop, using all brand-new parts. They are just using the Outlet as a marketing channel, and they might also use this offer to liquidate excess 3610...

Just curious, but do you understand how Windows Experience Index works? The highest scores you can get in the categories is 7.9 and in your case all are above 7 except the hard disk. You would...

Good to hear the numbers are not a big concern. Thanks. I will watch for a good deal on an SSD hard drive. My friend's pentium is a LOT faster starting up than this PC, but my friend has an SSD. So I...

It makes a difference when you are using applications that take advantage of the extra real estate like using Excel or something.

You are very misinformed if you think resolution on a computer monitor makes no difference. Have you used a computer for anything besides watching movies/TV? Like, perhaps, for multitasking? People...

Looks like a good deal but really too many hoops IMO to jump through. Still repped OP though. +1:nod:

What is the average battery life you are experiencing?
Post #55356464 added 11-26-2012 3:25 PM by tasmanian in Archived Deals
I believe an earlier thread stated that with just web browsing it was somewhere around 3-4 hours. Gaming on battery life lasts like an hour at most. Its not horrible battery life but its no 6-8 hours.

The only Special Edition 17R I see on the outlet site lists at $929. The link wasn't working for me earlier, but now that I went to the Outlet site myself, it does work. And still shows the $929.

Site is showing to use coupon code JX6B1?0JX8S?BD which would drop it to $645, however, the coupon only works if the original price is $845 and it's now $925 in the cart so the coupon doesn't work.

To be fair, that wasn't 1080p. But I think the Lenovo deals are better with the mSATA SSD & blu-ray and better GPU depending on model.
