That Pioneer receiver is golden. It can stand on its own as a top shelf pre/pro.....just add a nice amp with some big balls and make those Klipsch's shine. Worst thing you can do to a nice set of...

Make sure you've heard these speakers before throwing this amount of money at them. Very often speakers that are very expensive may sound worse in your opinion than much cheaper speakers. I...

Weird, when I first tried the link to this deal, after reading the page, I clicked on the $5799 - reference 7 picture, to see if the same code would work there, it didn't, So I deleted my cart, then...

This might be the most trolled front page deal to date... Take out the sarcastic comments and you have 3 people maybe that are talking about the deal, 1 of which might actually be able to purchase....

I think there's a mistake in the title. It says it also includes a Marantz SR5007 Receiver. Two receivers would be a strange deal...

BOSE is for dumbs who do not understand what is the correlation between money and sound quality? You should spend some time on AVSFORUM before you make such big investment. There are many factors...

In for one for my pet rat and turtle. They love watching movies together in their home theater. Heck, at this price, might even get one for my Grandma. She's a bit hard of hearing, and falls...

The list prices are extremely high as well though. You can get the 82 II's for $950-$1k total, the RC-62 for $400, the RS-52's for $625 total...so its not exactly a free sub and receiver.

A $1200 receiver isn't good enough?

I wouldn't say that. This Pioneer has the class D amps that put out rated power, and the Klipsch speakers have high sensitivity (Fronts: 98, Center:98: Rears:95) . This setup should be able to hit...

Receiver is way to weak for whole set up to get the best sound experience you'll need at least two external amps.

This chart is actually comparing the Klipsch SW-311, which is very similar to the SW-310, except it has a 500W amp instead of 400W. The purple line is the PA-150. The blue line is the SW-311.

Very nice set, maybe could be a better receiver or sub, but a nice set. I had a very similar set in early 2000 of the RF-3's in 5.1. I moved up to the RF-7 home theater set in 6.1, very big sound. ...

for music listening, sure, but for home theater, I'd rather have the dynamics of the Klipsch (or eD, CHT, JTR, etc.)

I agree with you 100% I do enjoy some of the klipsch line but I haven't yet heard a single one of their "stereophile" level speakers that I thought was worth the cost. Glad I'm not the only one with...
