No I bought mine new, but to be honest - a refurb should look and work as new, and if not - Logitech will replace it with another refurb/new one, so the review stands whether you get a new or refurb...

Thanks! Still works on 2/19/13. I bought the Harmony 650 but the signal was not strong enough to pass through the tinted glass panels on the entertainment unit. I hope this works better.
