Mine from last year still works fine. For a dual watch winder it's not going to get cheaper than this. The LED is kind of annoying at times but that depends where you put it.

I don't really get why watch winders are so expensive, but I think it's one of those things where you really get what you pay...

depends on the movement.
Typical movements are wound both ways. You want to get around 360 cycles per day. Chronograph movements typically wound clockwise.
