SSDs are 2.5", so you'd need a 2.5 inch adapter to put into this 3.5 inch adapter to put into the 5 inch bay. This is for putting internal hard drives (desktop sized, not laptop sized) into 5 inch...

Not an issue except for sound. 2.5" drives can be mounted sideways in I think 2 bays if I recall right. You can get mounts that will take around 6 to 8. In 3 bays you can get 4 3.5 inch...
