attaching an AF confirm chip is actually a pain since the chip height has to be exact and the positioning is critical as well. If you are off by .5mm the chip will not register in the camera.

No, that version has a focus confirmation chip, and NONE of the Rokinon models have focus motors. No motor, no autofocus. All manual.
