They also have twice the cache (16MB on the 8320). I think it equates to a bit more than just a 10% bump from the previous generation.

I'm pretty sure the 8 core Vishera line still has 8 MB of L2/L3 cache. All in all it's a modest improvement over Bulldozer line of CPUs.

I think the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 is good OC'ing mobo. It's the one I use. It supports AMD Crossfire but not Nvidia SLI. You'll need a 990 for that, which is more.
