I just picked this up. Confirmed no light,but I opened the box and it comes with two shields (not magnifying) and work rests. Definitely not commercial quality but good home quality for the price.

Amperage is not an accurate indicator of power. This grinder is fine, and you wouldn't notice any real difference between this grinder and a 3 A grinder.
Grinders don't take much power anyway,...

Grinding wheels have to be trued on the grinder - the "walking" is due to an out-of-balance condition. If you true the wheels with a diamond dresser, that will solve the problem.
