Depends on if you already have a lot of stuff invested in the Apple app store. If not, then Imo get the nexus, 7. For $50 more, you get a much more superior tablet.

It's a decent enough tablet for that price. Resolution is a tad low for a 10" tablet, but not too bad. Better deal than an iPad? IMO, absolutely, but I'm not a big fan of Apple products, or paying...
