Yeah, aged in bourbon cask and finished in sherry is, like you say, not how Macallan does maturation. But "some" 3rd party whisky bottlers are excellent. Alexander Murray & Co, who knows.

I wish I had picked up more the one time I saw. The 20 yr Speyside is no good. But the Kirkland bottle that has "Macallan" in small letters was great.
