I've read that the Kindle has a much better display than the Nexus. Not sure if that overcomes the processing difference that Nexus has over Kindle though.

the kindle integrates with amazon services(instant video, audible, etc) better than the nexus but the main advantage the kindle has ... or at least the only one I can think of.

Kindle HD better display, amazon prime (limited selection of free ebooks, movies, tvshows) vs Nexus faster processer. Its a close call if your not a Amazon Prime customer.
