That's not a simple solution if you want to keep the warranty... Also, what is your room temperature? Either your room temp sensor is wrong, or the data from your drive is off by a bit.. because...

Sorry pet peeve--stop it. There is no way to get your hardware below room temps using fans. Laws of physics do apply to PC cooling unfortunately.

It's always nice to be able to use the hard drive manufacturer's tool which is why it's really disappointing that Hitachi's DFT (Drive Fitness Tool) specifically states it does not work for 3TB...
