I got a Sandisk 64gb MicroSDXC from Best Buy for only $35 last week. Will try it in the Venture tonight and see if it takes it. Should be fine.. My Samsung S3 and Galaxy Tab have not problem...

Wifi should work, not sure why it isnt. You might want to try logging into your router and maybe set up a second password and try that one on your phone
