Just remember, shipping weight on that bad boy is 41lbs, so shipping's going to be costly.

Yeah you got a great deal. If you sold that all on eBay after shipping and fees (and I've done it) your net would be about $170-$180 or so.

Adorama's deal was better. I got mine with $1128-$400 rebate last time ended up 728 for the same thing. I will sell the printer too anyway.

I got my T1i a couple years back when they had the camera + printer + rebates and stuff at Amazon. Then I sold the printer for like $300 and ended up with an awesome camera for like $350 or less.

Yes, and that was a great deal as well. So take a great deal, add $100 to it, and get a printer that you can sell for $250. How is that not a deal? There's a lot more hassle to this one with the...

Not a great deal when you have to sell a printer to bring down the cost of the camera. For me, if the printer is so great, why do they bundle it? Maybe because most folks would never buy the printer...

You're right, thought that was one I was watching that was actually bid on. Too bad, had my hopes up. Though one did get bid up to $285... ...

All these good T4i deals and I can't make up my mind between the Nex 5r and the T4i. Probably this is more camera than I need but very tempting.
Post #55741438 added 12-06-2012 1:22 AM by buister in Archived Deals
Yeah, good luck getting sold for anywhere near $400, much less $500. $250 is more realistic.

I'd say my estimate for selling the printer is very accurate. COMPLETED sales on eBay have not been any lower than $329, w/o shipping. I estimated $300. It'll take me 20 minutes to list it, and 30...

not sure what the going rate is on the printer but it will be much better than the saturated pro 9000 market. here is a link to the pro 9500 on amazon just for reference here

Good luck selling for that price. I've been tracking these printers on ebay for some time now. They sell for around $200 NEW
Post #55671718 added 12-04-2012 9:55 AM by Parja in Archived Deals
Well, only one with bids on it on eBay at the moment and it's going for $222 with 5 hours left. So probably not going to see "$300 - 400", but $200+ after eBay/PayPal fees should be achievable.
Post #55671862 added 12-04-2012 9:58 AM by ONEchance in Archived Deals
Since that one has free shipping meaning the seller would need to spend at least $40-50 out of pocket for shipping (this printer is heavy) then minus 9% ebay fee. the final revenue is around $160....

Shows $1297.99 in cart for me. Less $500 rebate and the net is $797.99.

Just pulled the trigger on it. I'll give the camera as gift to my daughter, keep the 55-250 lens for myself, and sell the printer. You can carefully remove the cardboard around the UPC code and...

Yikes, 41lb shipping weight. That would cost a pretty penny. Good call!

no tax for me. I bit on this deal. As long as the rebate comes through it should be killer. I'll probably sell the printer for another $300 - 400 dropping the price of the camera and 2 lenses to $500...

Not sure why this is treated like the unwanted child? For anyone in NY, this is better than the Adorama deal, of course there is the rebate hassle.
