Define "true" 240HZ. What's the point if source signals are only 24fps (except for the new "The Hobbit" movie ). It would follow that the higher the refresh rate the faker the picture.

S-IPS has more grayish blacks than your old Samsung pva but pva has other trade offs as well. The input lag on the Panasonic is pretty bad compared to this tv.

It's passive 3d refresh rate really changes nothing for passive 3d. Also looking at a tv in the store is pretty much useless your house is anything like a store and plan on running the tv on torch...
