That's the problem - I saw that deal but the card sold out in about 1 hour and I missed it! I've been waiting for a card for my new build for a couple of weeks and there doesn't seem to be much on...

I run two of these in SLI without any problems. Skip the Zotac overclocking utility and use Afterburner.

Not sure it's that clearcut - there seems to be a lot of opinion out there suggesting 570 is up there, e.g: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html. Also, not sure what difference...

(i) As far as performance is concerned, a 660 is not "better by far" than an AMPed 570. Granted the 570 will draw more power and produce more heat though. (ii) Paying $50 more for a 660 doesn't...

It does appear that the GTX 660 tops the 570 in most benchmarks (and uses something like 100+W less under load)! Source And it's been on sale as low as $170 recently

While this recent deal is dead, this was a GTX 660 for $165 AR just to give you an idea of that to look for price wise. Also the Radeon 7870 or 7850 are as good as or better a 570 and are also found...

the link to the 660 is the same exact card that dropped twice in the last month to $155 & $165. if your buying that card wait.
