Ahhhh the uneducated..... This 840 non-pro ssd drive has only 1/3rd the life of the previous 830 256gb models and is SLOWER. Yes,1/3rd the cell endurance. All this to save $20 over the 830 model....

These are cheaper than the 830 because the NAND chips are cheaper. It's TLC, half the lifespan of MLC. If you don't expect to use it 5+ yrs, you should be ok.
