No it doesn't. It's air cooled. I've looked and taken apart top cover to expose a fan. I even read the manual. :)

I edge and trim a little, then use their blower to clean off the driveway and sidewalk. It takes me about 3 batteries to get it all done.
For occasional use, this thing is just fine.
