you are saying that they tripled your rates in a 3 month period. I find that very hard to believe. I know in Texas that is not possible.

DON'T DO IT!!!
I tried it last year. The going rate here in NY was about 6 or 7 cents per kWH at that time. I switched to Energy Plus for the promo and their rate turned out to be 23 or 25 cents...

I tried this couple of times in the past. The rates were 2-3 cents higher than average but worth the mileage you're getting, especially if you don't use that much electricity during the winter time.

No, I am saying the rate tripled in the FIRST month. This is a market rate, they can pretty much charge whatever they want. That is why there is no commitment.
