How much are tickets normally? I see KLM flights for ~150$ more. That's still a slick deal but not worth a spontaneous trip...if this is ~50% off or something then it might be.

There's also a deal from LAX, non-stop, which is the best way to go to Istanbul, for 1/1 through 2/28 for $797. Being born and raised there i would know, Jan / Feb are NOT the best times to go....
