Thanks for the answers. I ended up going to BestBuy and buying a transfer cable. Once I'm done saving my games onto a USB I'll just return the cable (as per the BB employee's suggestion!).

Yea you could. But you have to buy a xbox 360 transfer cable. You can get it off amazon. There's a newer one and an older one but i think the older one works just as well and is way cheaper.

I must say I have both systems (250GB and 4GB) and the 4GB with an aftermarket HDD does seem quicker than the system w/o the 4GB.

Depends on how many games you usually play but I am very happy with my 4G xbox. I added a 16gig usb stick and it is more than enough for me. I play 2 or 3 games once or twice a week.

will work fine as long as the kinect you buy comes with an AC power adapter. some are sold without them, because the Slim does not need it.

Get the 4GB model and install your own Hard Drive (I paid $35 for 250Gb WD Drive). Use google and it will tell you how. Its very simple to do. I would not pay an extra $100 for the 250GB model...
