Nobody is going to feel sorry for you. There are lots of people who wanted one for themselves but were outmaneuvered by eBayers. I got one as a stocking stuffer.

Wouldn't the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze for $299 with $50 card be more bang for the same buck?

it's not 4.7..it's 4.5
Doesn't hurt to try. They allow you to return phones, so most likely yes they will adjust the price.

Not worth it. Comes with 4.0.4 and probably won't be updated to 4.2.1.

4.1 maybe. 4.2 will be next 45 days.

You don't need to buy anything from Walmart to get that $30 plan. I bought the sim from tmobile.com for 99 cents and then activated online.

Thanks guys, I already have both a Tmobile micro-sim and regular sim from previous 99c sales for them. Wish there was a way to pick this up locally for $200, but i guess $250 is not bad for saving...

I've rooted the phone and overclock it to 1.2ghz (it was unstable at 1.3). Plopped in a 32g sd card for $18. Not a bad phone for $218.

Just a heads up in case you have an existing account, this phone has a micro sim. You will have to get T-mobile to switch the service over or cut your sim down.

Is it possible to buy the phone at a T mobile store at the $199 + $50 monthly prepaid plan and then pop in a new sim card and switch to the $30 plan after the month runs out?
