I know that there has recently been a similar thread, but these prices have gone down even more since Black Friday (sucks to stand in line anyways right?). UV Filter (just as protection) 6.19...

It's a solid deal for a nice camera. I bought this bundle earlier today. A great alternative to the canon bag is the amazon backpack also free. It holds more, keeps your hands free and has side...

I will sell all the crap lens, just keep the body. That gives me 424-170= 254. So the camera itself is about $230. Hmmmmm, not bad. But do I need it?

You have no idea how many sder bought 5d mark II. I think only 1/3 of them really know how to take a good photo with it. Overkill is not unusual here. If I can afford it, why not? that's the...

I am guilty of not knowing all its features, but auto mode with external flash pointing at the ceiling gives me excellent indoor pictures. For some outdoor pictures I also use flash to reduce shades....

No, I just happened to add that to my own personal order. No deal/promo on that.

Good deal, as others have said, I have seen better but if you want to wait for "better" well, might as well get a camera to hold you over for who the heck knows how long. I would buy this if I were...

Adding 105 will make it $529, the other lens 55-250 mm is IS, you don't want a big zoom lens without optical image stabilization unless you plan on using it with a tripod only. So the other lens is...

This is a great DSLR to start with or to learn with. I am slowly moving from pentax which I love to canon cause I don't love the cost of the pentax lens! I got in on the sears deal on this last...

The pics clearly show superiority of DSLR, the bird is in excellent focus despite window grill and branches. The other picture could use better focus on the face of the dog, but still a very good pic.

thanks! the camera did just what I made it to do with the puppy. The bird was just as you stated! both were shot in jpeg. so the camera did all the processing, the dog is directly off the...

I pulled the trigger on this. I bought the telephoto lens with IS, though, so my total was $454. I've been tracking this deal for a few days now, and the IS telephoto went down to $199, so I had to...

You're right. This camera needs 58mm UV filters. Being that this is my first dslr camera, I didn't know and I'm really surprised that it no one said anything until AFTER we all got the cameras. ...

Yeah...........waiting for "better" might not yield much. I think that "better" deal was actually a mistake that Amazon was just good enough to honor. That was this entire package plus the 55-250...

I've noticed the UV Filter is from a third party, so would buying it from Amazon reduce the price less $6?

You are missing 55-250 mm IS lens, so it is still the same deal as the one on BF.

That's gone back up to $255.00 (plus 150.00 off with the promo code). I just didn't really have the need of another lens so I didn't put it......so add 105.00 to the order and you get all three...

The thing with cameras is that most people will never use a third of the features. I'm guilty of it, I was foaming at the mouth over some of the t4i deals but after doing the research it was just...
