its a full android os jellybean 3.2 now that the update it out much smoother more powerful bur the screen isnt as good as this one but also smaller at 7" but I myself now have the ipad mini an love...

Depends on your usage. If you're about to carry the tablet with you then keep the 7". For me, as I mostly use it at home for reading, 7" is too small 10" is too big, 8.9" is the perfect size.
