I did say you can stream from phone to laptop connected to AVR. It's your choice if you want to buy this device, by all means. I just wanted to let people know about a possibility WITHOUT this device.

I have both items....car version and home version and both work perfectly with my Galaxy S3 and my Sons Galaxy Note 2.
Home version also works with my HP Touchpad, Haven't tried the car version...

This has a standard 3.5 mm jack for stereo output.
If you have a connector cable for 3.5 mm-to-RCA, you should be good :).
