In other words...$200 in free accessories on top of the $700 price drop on the kit (MSRP $2700). Also, the Adorama warranty extends it to a total of 2 years warranty. +D600 Body = $2,000 +24-85mm...

So, the competition is rather 'tooth-and-nail' as a balance of repair costs, delays, recalls, etc. of the flagship DSLR to cover for the botched engineering, negligent OC, overpaid managers, and...

12/25 Adorama bumped price of this combo $130 to $2126.95, however, pinkblack found a link adorama.com] to get the same bundle for $4.95 more than the original price (no free 2-day shipping though). ...

The cost of the 16-35 VR is almost as much as the 16-35L, which is a stop faster. I would rather have the extra aperture stop than VR in an UWA lens, but chose the 17-40L because it is 1/2 the cost...

The 18-35 isn't really a worthy replacement, the suggested 16-35 VR is probably the closest but it's not in the same price range. Personally I like the idea of the 16-35 VR but its not for everyone....

What is the concierge line? I threatened to return and re-buy, but no go with the PM from the regular CSR. Hate doing a return/re-buy but you are right it is a good amount of money. ...

Just my 2 cents as a Nikon D800 videographer, in case anyone is interested... I was very tempted to trade my D800 in and get 2 D600's (for a little extra). The reason I didn't was because in Live...

Thanks for confirming. Age? - DX lenses from my old D200. Reason? - I have 5 lenses and seeing if I can re-use them at least until I can replace them at a later time.

The rebates are pretty meh right now. If you're looking to pick up one of the lens that qualify for a rebate, great, go for it, but don't plan on making money by reselling them. I did that 1.5...

How did you get 10% coupon? Amazon gave to selected customers?
Post #56046056 added 12-14-2012 5:56 AM by Hrshycro in Archived Deals
I guess it went out to select customers. I have 3 or 4 accounts with them, and actively use one for purchases weekly. Didn't receive the coupon. ;(

Tempting price. I read that D600 sales were lower than expected for Nikon. Possibly because of all the pre-release rumor hype about it being a $1500-1800 body. This puts it in that range after you...

This is a great camera and a great price but I certainly wouldn't recommend this to a beginner that is looking to get into photography or DSLRs. I would suggest starting off with a very good DSLR in...

that's a good point too. I've reached both limits on my current body and have had a need for higher sync and shutter speed in several scenarios. I absolutely need both of those to be higher for my...

I did NOT read all these pages but since it is somewhat common/heard of for oil to be thrown from the shutter mechanisms onto the rear glass of your lens and/or more importantly, the glass in front...

I ordered one at Best Buy on the 18 month same as cash so I can take my time liquidating the DX stuff this will replace. Hopefully I can get them to throw in an extra or two when I get to the store...

I am having a ridiculous buyer's remorse now. Bought it at full price the hour it was released. Such price drop is very very rare with Nikon gears. It's a great camera.

They're probably trying to clear out the last of the batch of serials with the bad dust/lubricant problem.

I have used D800, D800E, D4, and the D600. After using all four, i decided for the D800E for myself. D800E had the sharpest output of any cameras I have used. In fact, I do not even need to...

As long as yours does not have focus issues, I think a used D800 is a better buy.

Is this price drop permanent or temporary? I really want one but I would rather wait out the dusty sensor issue.
