it's not booting your usb drive because, as was said before, it's not set to bios legacy.

8 GB is probably overkill for this system. 4 GB is good for 64-bit. 2 GB should be fine if you're installing a 32-bit OS.

the C-60 was not slow in booting windows. maybe 25-30 seconds. it was quite zippy for what i needed it to do, with the exception of HD streaming.. but the fix i previously link should work.
