If you're considering the D600, factor the cost of your projected kit. Don't just look at body prices. Also, try a Nikon body. They're better in some ways and worse in others, you may not like the UI.

On the plus side, the 24-105mm is very nice , and likley far better than the 24-85mm that Nikon is giving away with the D600. If you're planning on keeping the lens it's a nice deal.
