Damn that blows. Was it a 3d blu-ray or just plain old 2d? You can easily take the device out. It's just held by the way the cardboard is folded that engages the plastic wrap. No tape no nothing.

Okay I'm updating. Haven't tried a blu-ray disc but my dvd's play fine. It upscales gorgeously normal dvd's. Will buy a blu-ray tomorrow to see if it works. Player seems noisy though.
