bankrate is a good place to start to compare, I don't know your state, but it looks like the current going rate for chase is "Rate is an average of 3-mo LIBOR plus a margin of 3.25% to 9.25%...

Why would you not want to borrow from your parents if
1) They are willing to do it, and
2) would likely charge you interest less than what you'd get from a private loan company?
