I agree with you, especially a $40 MIR is a bit risky. Seeing how they jacked up the price $10 right after they put the MIR really sucks also.

I have the nuvi 1490T and a bunch of nuvi 1350Ts I got on clearance for super cheap at Target. The 2000/3000 models are actually the newer "2012" product line in the nuvi series. 2550LMT...

For the mail in rebate, you need the original UPC barcode label. I'm assuming that's the UPC from the actual item which means I can't complete the mail in portion of the rebate until I get the item....

You mean 2595LMT. Also the 2460LMT has VR and BT, and Garmin was selling them for $90 through ebay a couple weeks ago. But the 25xx line is one year newer, and has Guidance 2.0. 2460LMT vs 2595LMT
