Assuming you have the 5.56 model and not the 7.62/.308 Win, then yes you can fire .223 ammunition. A 5.56 chambered rifle can take both 5.56 and .223. A .223 rifle should really only ever be fed...

I don't think that it matters if they don't have it you won't be charged. I know in my area that 30 round AR15 mags are going for 100+ and are unavailable. They had a regional gun show last weekend...

Exact same thing happened to me. Put my order in on Nov.29....I actually called their customer service yesterday and didn't get anywhere at all....I wouldn't recommend anyone buying from this company.
