This is correct, except that, at least from my reading of the terms..it is the first purchase during the promotional period..not first purchase. Meaning if you bought something before the promotion...

just to be clear, this is NOT an exclusive rapid rewards/itunes promotion. the 500 points for making a purchase can only be used ONCE, so if you've already bought something from the rapid rewards...

Though I havent recieved my 500 from this purchase, I did get my 40 (2pts for $20) that I made on an app through itunes, before this promotion. All I did was go through the link and purchase the app...

They could take up to 6weeks to credit, which would fall into the 2013 qualifying period and bonus points don't count toward Companion or Tier (A List/A List Preferred) status. :(

^Smarter than me! After using the southwest shopping I think Im gonna keep using it. Even if you only get 2 extra miles per dollar from it..if you use the sw visa you effectively get triple benefits...
