At stock speeds, yes. 7950 when overclocked is faster, however.

I once had a Tiger Direct service rep blatantly lie to me about an item not having free shipping, then argued with me that I lived at a business, then told me that FedEx doesn't deliver to apartment...

The card shows up on Newegg as the stock 915mhz short card. On tiger it shows 1006ghz and I think that is wrong. This is a no sale for me just on that. If it was the 680 pcb like the sale last...
Advantage of this over the 670 for someone with a AMD Phenom 6 core? http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html says its a relatively inferior card. I must be misunderstanding some...

The Galaxy 680 is only $85 more at Newegg, also with the two games, plus no tax for more states than Tiger Direct. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162096

I'll give you the driver argument all day long - AMD shits all over some really nice kit with their lack of acceptable software. But let us not forget one thing: as bad as CCC and AMD driver...

This is a GALAXY MFG rebate, not Tiger Direct. I don't understand what hatred of TD rebates has to do with this deal.

This was my original comment: "Not if you want a playable framerate at the highest resolutions." 1080p isn't the highest resolution nor is his smooth framerate at the highest settings. My...

Solid price. I'm on a GTX 670 Gigabyte Windforce OC (stable-mild OC to GTX 680 levels) and it handles FC3, BL2 (both ultra settings), etc.. just fine. Not sure how much you can OC this Galaxy card...

Except it sold as soon as I posted the link. Amazon guarantees ALL products regardless of who sells it. Nothing to lose. Keep trying to play it down.
