It seems like it's a Ford versus Chevy or Remington 870 versus Mossberg 500 debate. They're both great blenders. I still can't justify spending $400 on a blender but I've used both and they are...

I guess vitamix stopped innovating.... stealing another companies design...and being blatant about it... cost them a lot of $$$ in the lawsuit.... and got me a $12.95 blendtec wildside jar!!! :D ...

Is $370 that great of a deal for a Blendtec? After tax, I'm looking at close to $400, which is what I can buy them for from Amazon. Or am I missing something? Edit: Looks like Amazon matched...

One of my local Costco's has it for $299 (Carlsbad, CA), so I returned this and bought it in store.

Bought my wife a Blendtec after researching both. I prefered the styling of the new Blendtec to the Vitamix. Plus read many reviews including Greensmoothiegirl's in which she said both machines are...

I've always wondered what kind of margin and overhead does a blender maker need to have full time people planted at every costco? Who pays for that? How many equivalent 3hp blenders could i buy for...

What the heck are you talking about? It has already been mentioned at the begining of the thread that this product comes with an 8 year manufacturer's warranty. Clearly you are the one that needs...

Yes it is returnable forever. But you asked if you SHOULD return it to Costco while it is under warranty from Blendtec. Why would you do that? There is a difference between can and should.

8 year warranty at Costco vs. 7 year at Amazon. Also, at Costco it's returnable forever vs. 30 days for Amazon. I'd pay tax for that. Just my 2 cents.

If you read the description it says it features both the Wildside and Four sided jar, so it should come with both.
