You 'may' be able to use (1) $1 coupon with the B1G1 mq, but that depends on how the BoGo is coded (which could make a difference in what order you want to hand the coupons, or ymmv with cashier...

I think the confusion is the "Bayer Healthcare MQ" - in your OP, it didn't state that coupon is good on the Alka Seltzer. S/he is only seeing the 2 Bayer in your transaction and not realizing the MQ...

The short barcode on that Bayer $4/2 tearpad Q beeps because it starts with 9. The extended barcode works, although it is coded like a 992, so it prompts the cashier to enter taxable or nontaxable.
