You won't come close to a system this good for an extra $150! Some have issues, but for that price i'll gamble on it! Had plenty of Onkyo over the years and have always faired well!. Big ups!

I wouldn't expect that just because you bought an Onkyo unit 15 years ago that had no problems, that you won't if buying Onkyo today. They have gotten a lot worse in just 15 years.

I have an onkyo unit myself for 6 years and so do some of friends, never had one issue, they were one of the first to decode all the HD sound formats for a reasonable price, love my onkyo.
