Thought the same about all movies on 2 discs but reviews seem good. The Shogun Assassin series appears to be a re-edit of the Lone Wolf and Cub series released in the US and Britain

I bought this. I recall seeing Shogun Assassin on cable tv in the early 80s. Recall a head split in two and blood gushing out. So had to get this for the price! Thanks for posting!
