Can't tell if it supports AirPrint, says you can using Airport Express or Airport Extreme.

Just and FYI, I have 3 of these in my office and all 3 have ADF problems. All of them will not pull the paper straight and often jam. They work great aside from that, but if you need to scan a lot,...

I cannot comment about the ink drying out. I run a real estate and property management office, so we run through ink and paper fairly quickly. The only reason I converted to these all-in-ones was to...

I would just like to add that I also have several of the older model of this printer, the 8500, and have no issues with them. I was surprised when the 8600 had issues.

I second that. Also, the print heads need to be cleaned way too often. I recommend a nice laser printer and a separate document scanner, designed for document scanning only.

Absolutely agree. Even when ours was brand new. These things have auto-document feeder (ADF) problems, they are slow, jam a lot, and no where near anything like a real ADF found in a typical...

I have an 8600 at the office, and it works great. We haven't had any issues with the feeder, I just wish I could find a good CISS (continuous ink supply system) for it. Not one of those cheap 1-way...

OK, I almost never put negative reviews...actually, this may be the first one. But don't buy this. Please. I have had three of these, two as replacements. And they all break, one way or...

Currently dealing with a nearly dead 8500. Just spend $65 on a cyan/magenta printhead (separate from the ink!) and the printouts still look horrible (in color; black prints OK). A bit sick of it,...

Thanks for that info. How about ink cartridge life? Do they dry out and clog if you don't print a lot with them? (Though I'm guessing in an office environment, yours are running all the time)

No, that's a different promotion. The one for the 8600 expired in October.

I'm in the market for a nice inkjet printer, but all the negative reviews on this model scare me. Thanks for the post nonetheless... I hope to see more posts like this in the near future.

I use this printer at work. It's very nice, but ink is expensive, glad I don't have to pay for it!

I had about 3 or 4 8500's and the ADF never, EVER, worked. I paid like $300ish for each too. Pretty good flat bed scanner accuracy for an AIO, and decent print speeds and quality. The ADF was just...

OP forgot to mention HP Trade-In hp.com] good till 12/31/12. $50 for trading in HP printers. $75 for trading in non-HP printers. This was how I got my 8600 Plus for $65 couple months back.

I have both 8500 Plus and 8600 Plus. They work fine for me. I do agree though the ADF of the 8600 does not grab the paper straight. Something to keep in mind.
