The 50mm lens is really useful if you are shooting indoors a lot. The kit lens and the 55-250 both work really well outdoors in brighter light, and ok in a well lit room. Give them standard lighting...

FYI this is a gray market item and the warranty is offered by B&H. Not sure who B&H contracts with for warranty repairs. If you want a Canon warranty, Adorama has it for $2 more.

Well, it really depends on what you are looking to get better images of. I find that on trips I go back and forth with my telephoto lens (55-250) to get closer images of things that are farther away...
