when i used the other tether apps w/o jb it didnt show up as tether data... showed up as normal data.... additionally do your research.... fcc made it illegal for companies to charge more for...

I've got tons of warning over the years using the unlimited att plan. You will just get warning. If you go over 4 or 5 gigabytes (can't remember which) they will start throttling your connection...

I don't believe this will work to tether your iPhone to iPad as you need to create an adhoc network. So you can only tether your Macbook to your iPhone.

Works on Verizon and AT&T (and probably others), but AT&T is known to catch people for doing this. If you're on a tiered data plan on Verizon, it doesn't matter because you get free 4G LTE tethering.
